Car is finally coming together...

Some background info for people who don't know what's going on. About a week ago my car was backed into and the whole front end needs to be repainted. Luckily the guy came into the bowling alley and found me, gave me the money to fix it; so I'm going to be getting a MUCH needed paint job for the front of my car.

Now, Christmas was yesterday and I got some cool **** from the girlfriend. Over a year ago I started a thread about how my dash pad cracked. Well the dash has been cracked from the dashboard to the windsheild, it's been like that for about 10 months now. Never fixed it because I kept buying other **** (ie: gear, DRs, etc.) So my girlfriend got me a new dash pad

Now my car is going to look brand new thanks to my girlfriend getting me the PC 7336. Got me all the Lake County pads too. Hell yeah

Nice gift from your girlfriend, also, you were VERY lucky the guy who backed into your car was honest enough to find you and give you the money to fix the damage!

Well, got around to changing the dash out today. Seems the dash that was ordered was for the 98-99 gray interiors because it doesn't match.

So now I have to ride around without a dashpad until the right one comes in.

oh...that sucks...talk about a pipe in the plans...

You ain't kidding. I was worried about changing the dash pad out because I wasn't sure what to expect when it came to taking the A-pillars out, etc. But it's actually very simple and straight forward changing it out.
