And here are some camera phone pics my mom took as she and my buddy picked the Mongoose up to put her in storage....

The reflection off the white, and the Oregon rain made for some chitty pics, BUT, they took a bunch with the digital camera, so after mom gets off work she's going to e-mail them to me.

Thanks! They stripped everything down, pulled the doors, fenders, hood, hatch, bumper covers, etc. I told them I wanted NO paint seams anywhere, and it needed to look better than new. I had them replace all the head light tail light, foglight capsules with new ones to remove any old "fog."

Basically erased 94k miles off of her appearance. Next comes suspension, HRE's, interior, and drivetrain.

That looks awsome. I love the paint scheme. I always wanted a white SS.

Thanks! I was really worried about the grill being white. For years I've said I would never do that, but after seeing DVST8TR's car (silver) I thought it might look good. Now I am damn glad I did!

Thanks! Believe it or not, that's actually the Wings West grill. "Wings West W-Typ Front Grille Insert w/ Aluminum Mesh" to be exact. :o

Thanks! That's what I'm hoping. I'd LIKE to go 315's in the rear, but not sure yet. Getting the perfect rim dimensions is going to be interesting, with having them made specifically for the car. But I can't wait!

I really like the front view of the car. Not a big fan of the rear.

Thanks! I'll have to see what other rear end shots they e-mail me when I get the good pictures. All input is appreciated though! I know some people dont' like the black mirrors either.

That's a really sweet SS man! FWIW, I think a black Stull grille with a "retro" white SS emblem would look better but, it's your car and it should be your vision.

Looks like you did the same thing to your third brake light that I did!

Nice car, hardtop? Do you plan on doing any fill-ins or badges on the rear?

Thanks man! If you mean didn't touch it.....you're right! I had to go back and look, and it just looks really dark thanks to all the black around it.

With the grill, I toyed with many idea's, from stock, to chrome billet with classic emblems, to you name it. Finally decided on that. Can't wait to see the pics from the digicam since I haven't seen it in person yet!

Yep, hardtop. I desperately wanted another t-top car after I sold my 2000 Z28 for my son, but when I was ready to trade off the now ex-wife's Accord for my SS , I couldn't even find a decent 6 spd car, let alone one with t-tops! So I found the SS, with factory white leather, and fell in love.

As far as fill-in's or badges.....I'm pretty sure they just put the SS emblems back on the rear, and other than that, I haven't thought about anything else on there at all.
