Pointless guage pod
cleaner the better no need for a bunch of riced out water temp guages...and the stock one works just fine it even has a warning light to let me know im over heating.... saved me a few times when i had some air in the coolant lines..
Unless, of course, you do not have the equipment or software to do so.
I still don't completely understand installing the same gauges on really quick LS1's. If you are that diehard on accuracy, then I would think you would posses the computer programs/software that could tune/calibrate your own vehicle/gauges.
I guess there is a convenience/cost factor, though.

For a DD though, there is no point.

I only introduced this idea because I read this from another member. I posted about how much of a pain in the *** it was trying to reintall the needles accurately. He mentioned using computer/software to match the needles to the proper place on his cluster.
