Default Seat belt holder thing....

My hand slipped off the headrest today when I was getting in my car and that plastic thing that holds the seat belt on the side of the head rest broke. I super glued it back togather but that prolly won't hold up very its just untill I get a new one. Where can I buy one of these? I was thinking like gm parts direct or something like that but I don't know what the item number is. Any suggestions?

Cool I'll try the dealership then....How do you get the seat belt through the new one? I haven't looked at it but I was just thinking about it and I can't think of how this is done lol

Go to where the seat belt bolts to the floor of the car at the base of the seat. Get a T47 Torx bit or whatever they are called. Unbolt the seatbelt from the floor and feed it through.

Be sure to get the ones for convertibles, they have a slot in them so you can just slide the seatbelt through.

Then he would need to get 2 instead of 1.

I did the same thing (part #s are available if you search)

my opinion on the vert version is it is a pain in the ***, my seat belt always slips through the slit and starts annoying me

Did the same thing in my convertible. No problem I thought. I'll just run down to my dealer & have them order me one. WRONG ! The parts man said the one for the convertible is VERY expensive because the only way you can get it is with the entire belt assy & thats like $200.00 bucks.PHUCH !!! So I glued the damn thing & it looks like **** !

convertible one has a slit through it to slide the belt in and out of it so you don't need to take stuff apart
