thanks alot....and as far as the price of the turbocharger....do you mean everything?? or just the turbo itself??
Its the Master Power T-70 T4 flanged with a .68 hotside. I paid $550 for it from a memeber off FTV6.com. Brand new they are $650. It was brand new when i bought it off him, he just never got around to getting a full turbo kit so i picked it up off him a little cheaper then full price.

that was only the turbo itself tho....nothing else....
i bought everything seperate off forums and of course ebay..
turbo-$550
intercooler-$250
turbo exhaust piping-$400
Intercooler piping-$140
Megan BOV-$100
HKS 40mm Wastegate-$125
oil feed/drain-$100
Boost controller-$100
36lb fuel injectors-$100
MSD fuel pump-$110
Gauge pod-$20
Boost gauge-$60
NGK tr-6 spark plugs-$12
Turbo V band exhaust clamp-$60
then of course you have all your vac. lines you gotta buy, clamps, couplers, air filters, etc....
you have your custom exhaust work to connect your down pipe into your exhaust...i have no cat....that was another $400
Then you need tuning but i had HP tuners and the latop before i even thought turbo....thats another $600
LC-1 wideband 02 sensor was $200
a good dyno tune could run from $300-$600
after i had the whole turbo kit on and on the way back from the exhaust shop from getting my whole exhaust hooked up, My throttle body gasket blew and the turbo lew anti freeze into my oil and i spun all of my crank bearings....so that was another $3500 for a new motor (intstalled with the turbo with a 1 year warrenty) from the shop...
and now cause the extra power, my tranny is shot....thats another $2000 this ocmming spring...then i gotta get drag radials, new suspension etc....it never ends.
it gets very very expensive....i just listed most the thing you need to have...i didnt list the posi rear end differential or gears, spark plug wires, headers, etc....

At least with a v6 you don't feel so bad going out and buying a bored/stroked LS2 sitting at 427 ci to "upgrade" your LS6 engine.
Of course most people don't go out and buy an engine that costs twice to triple the value of their car if it is a 2001+ in mint condition.
Especially since there is a brand new one right around the corner with about a million modernized part upgrades compared to a vehicle built in 1993+ and got a new bumper in 1998 with a chasis designed in the early '80s.
