Well you would not want mine. I get 160ish miles a tank (and I have to run 92 or better octane) and I tend to break stuff all the time... lol

I'm gunna guess that you had a 3800. My 3400 is the stupidest peice of crap to ever span the wheel wells of an f-body. I've put more money into it keeping it running than the car. As soon as I pay the thing off I"m going to start looking for an ls1.

Also, IT"S INCREDIBLY SLOW!!!!

Intake, LCAs, Panhard, Catback, headers, alum DS, LSD, 3.42s?

If you're at sea level you'd be lucky to dyno over 195rwhp. Maybe you can beat LT1s that are running on 7 cylinders...

The 3.4 is actually a 3800 series as well.

I know, however, it is the worst of the series. The small heads make it very prone to blowing headgaskets (which I think I might have just done for the second time in a year) and the set up as a whole sucks.

hey, its not rocket science when you know that youve outrun a car. it may only make under 200 if im lucky, but i got the drivetrain to put it down. and me lining up with an LT1 automatic that makes about 225 to the wheels with a dinky 2:73 gear out back isnt unusual. honestly, the first few production LT1's are quite slow in comparison to the later models. or maybe its the driver. i dunno. i pull on 5.0s all the time (thats not saying much but hey) and they dont believe me when i tell them that its a v6. but i also get my doors blown off quite a bit!

yea, gonna have to fly the BS flag on this one...stock LT1's are in the low 14's, and the mods you have at the time only put you at low-15's, super-high 14s

alright I didnt want it to come to this, and I didnt wanna do this but i guess I have no Choice...

dude, whats are you smoking?? a LT-1 running On 7 cylinders will put down 225rwhp....more like they put down around 260-270rwhp and believe me, thats plenty enough to whoop your "lightly" modded 3.8 by more then a Bus length. Im not Bsing either. You would be lucky to ever get out of the 15's with the mods you have listed. Yah LT1's arent a LS1 but who cares? its a 350 that makes a whole lot more power then our 3.8's do. If you ever have beaten a LT1 either the driver was asleep, the driver was blind, the driver was in cruise control, or the driver didnt wanna waste his gas on you. Say what you want.....thats the facts

just cause you think you know that you can do some math, and you come out with what you got...doesnt mean its right. Yah i can walk away from LT1's like its my job but you know what, I have over 320rwhp and atleast 8 grand worth of performance mods into my 3.8. You'd be lucky to put down 190 rwhp. Truth.

I had a 3400 in a 95 Camaro... Other than replacing a water pump, ERG valve, and an alternator, I had no problems. The car had 212k miles on it when I sold it.

What are you people doing to your cars that makes you only get 200 or so miles to a tank? The most I got in my 95 Camaro was a little over 400 miles to a tank.. 420 I believe.

My T/A, around the same. Something over 400.
