They blow out extremely quick. You would like for $40 a pair they would last at least a month. I have used 3 sets in the past, all went out within a months time. And that was with maybe 5 hours a week of having them on.

All silverstarts IMO are crap, they look nice but they blow out so fast, and replacing them once a month isn't cheap. And no I'm not saying that so you buy HID's, just giving you my personal experience with them.

I had them on my Camaro and they were fine...or like 2 years or so, never blew.
I have them on my Tahoe now and the both blew within a year...
I think I'll try the HID kits on my new Z

the ones from walmart were DIFFERENT BRIGHTNESSES!! i mean they were labled as 880 but out of 4 from walmart they're were 3 distinct different brightness levels... soo i went back to autozone.
the ones from o'rielly's and autozone were the same brightness.
if there poppin' then your getting your greasy hands on the bulb or the lamp is not sealed correctly.

I think it's just the the t/as that have problems with the silverstar fogs.
I have had my silverstar headlights and foglights for nearly 2 years now and the headlights finally blew. Upgraded to the silverstar ultra-brites and i'm good for another 2 years!

My Silverstars are awesome. They were in my Camaro for two years and then I put them in my Silverado (been in the silvy for almost two years now too). No issues at all. Are you guys handling the bulbs with your bare hands?
