z06 ducts would work well on an fd rx7. plenty of room for them.

thanks for sahring and i agree it looks ok, but i was talking about the c5 z06 ducts. Where do you guys pick up your photoshop skills? i mean from things like this all the way to things like complete new design rendering like the revitalization in action over at gminsidenews.com. im going to school to be a car designer and i havnt been taught anything like this yet, i know for a fact that in the future i will but i couldnt imagine reaching the skill level of some of you guys without training! if you could photoshop a c5 brake duct onto a red ls1 trans am thatd be awesome!!!

I have bought some C5 zo6 ducts from the corvette store. They were only $70 for both sides. Only thing that is holding them is 3m tape. The only way it could work is if you mold your side skirts to the car that way it'll give you a little more room to work with. (not much) I was going to go threw with it but I end up getting some new skirts with vents in the back. I was thinking about the putting them on the door aswell, it just won't look clean

yea if i keep my car the way it is i will deffinately get the side skirts molded on but i may want to buy a lip kit. Im kind of considering the vizage but i dont really like the side skirts. I want to buy the front lip and remove the splitter bar. then maybe wings west side skirts molded on with z06 ducts. and i dont know about the rear id like to fab my own rear skin that gets rid of that hideous bump that sticks out and make a smooth bumper all the way down like a vettes

It would probably look nice if there was enough room to fit them on.

i agree, but the duct won't fit in that area realistically.

what about the c6z duct? it was photoshopped on an lt1 above but will it really fit?

actually, if you molded the ground effects to the body, smoothed it out a bit and repainted then you'd be able to fit the c5 ducts on. and i think then, it would look pretty slick.

yeah but then i started thinking you'd also have to do something to the doors to get them to look flush and smooth with the changes to the ground effects and all. anybody up for the challenge?

A custom set-up would probably work better. They make all sorts of cut to fit scoops etc. I wonder if that would work better.

Just shave the bottom to fit the cut of the F-body and then superglue it to the side. Plus you wouldn't get the stigma of copying a Z06.
