T-top Tinting

T-top Tinting
I really like the way colormatched hardtops look but I really like my t-tops too. I'm not sure about this (just trying to get some additional input), but what do you guys think it would look like if the t-tops had that color see thru tint film they put on the back of truck windows on the outside that matched the body color? You think it would look less than half stupid? Maybe there are more options. Thats just all i could think of.

I'm not talking about doing it from the inside. Aren't the colored window design things on truck windows applied to the outside? I was thinking about it just for cosmetic purposes not actually for keeping out the sun.
Yea, that would look kind of goofy with the center bar black.

i tinted mine 5% and i love it. no more pesky t-top shades... since i take my off my tops frequently, those shades were getting in the way

^^ive heard that too, and if you did get that color-tint, wouldnt it have little black holes in it so you can still see thru? IMO you would be better off leaving them stock or tinting them if you think itll be ok

Like texasreb18 said, that color tint/vinyl has small pinholes in it, so you can still see through. It would look pretty shitty up close IMO. The whole dot-matrix thing just kills it.
Never heard of the tint cracking the t-tops. That sucks though. Guess I won't be tinting mine 5%...
