Default Exterior Gauges

I am looking for pictures of anyone who has gauges mounted outside of there car around the cowl area. I dislike the way the a-piller gauge mounts look and my searches have not turned up much for camaros.

hasnt anyone ever heard of the hood mounted tach on the original gtos? it use to be common to have guages on the backside of a cowl scoop and some hood manufacturers still offer it. If you like it is up to you. I personally dont like it for a road/street car but they could come in handy at the track plus i bet install is a breez

Doesn't the NHRA and IHRA require mechanical fuel/oil/water gauges to be mounted on the outside for safety reasons?
