waxing wheels works fine as long as you use a synthetic wax or sealant ..
other than for immediate show quality, using a carnuba based wax is usually a waste of time due to the heat build up the wheels endure.

I've only used meguires next gen wax, it works great. But I'd like them a ltitle more shiny, I picked up a can of mothers mag and aluminum polish today. I'm kinda scared to try it on my wheels. I knw they are clearcoated, but would it be ok?

Would you use metal polish of your other painted surfaces?
+1 for synthetic sealants. I use klasse's AIO, aslo hear DP gots a good sealant just for wheels.
