engine bay cleaning

Default engine bay cleaning

should i leave the car running to clean it or clean it when the engines cold?

also my old LT1 car didnt start after i cleaned the engine bay, is the ls1 like that? i know not to get the PCM or MAF wet and to avoid the coils

any tips?

I know i dont have a LSx car, but for what i know you can just simple green and powerwash.

Definatly make sure the engine is cold. I covered everything in simple green and let it sit for a few minutes, then hose it down and start wiping up the extra water. Then I used armor all wipes to make all the plastic nice and shiney.
