What do you guys use to get stains out of charcoal carpet?

What kind of stains? Most things will come out with degreaser and a little scrubbing. Your best bet is to use an extractor.

You should be fine with just that. If you have a shop vac you can get the effect of an extractor by putting some water in a spray bottle. Spray the carpets as you are vacuming the area needed to be cleaned. It's a ghetto way of doing it but thoretically it's the same thing.

I actually used a steam cleaner. I put some soap in the steam cleaner, as well as used the mequires stain out stuff. Works ok, but I think it would get most of it out after a few times.

Great Value carpet cleaner in the red can from Wal-Mart. It works wonders, I couldnt believe it! Cheap too!
