I don't know about that. The Trans Ams have a kind of body kit from the factory with their side skirts and molded rear bumper. I think it looks pretty good. The one part I wouldn't mind changing on my TA is the front nose area. I'd like to mold in a Wings West looking spoiler to give it a more aggressive look and possible help reduce lift at higher speeds.

Some of the Firebirds had an add-on skirt, rear bumper skirt and 2 glue on spoilers in the front. I forget what that option code was, but they look pretty good as well so I wouldn't say body kits are not for F-bodies. It makes a big difference just what you do with them. Some can look ugly and some great. Especially the ones that are molded in.

Check out Whistlers camaro. It has a lot of molded in body pieces and custom stuff.

This isn't going to help you as it's for the 3rd gen cars, but this is an awesome full body kit none the less. The Evoluzione 2 GTE.

yea that one looks much nicer than most of the others ive seen, is it just me or is there more of a gap between the headlight and bumper on the bottom? im thinking about just keeping it stock then, i mainly wanted a body kit that would help handling and was carbon fiber, lol thats what i meant by REAL body kit, sorry if i threw some people off, but looks are always a plus

I don't think your going to find that for any domestic car. The high end body kits are usually for import cars and usually the higher end import cars like Benzs and BMW's. There's a few high end aftermarket body kit companies for Japanese cars as well, but you probably already know that.

With the F-body, you get very inexpensive power and performance. Most of the upgrades as far as looks go are in getting a nice fitting wheel combo and then getting the stance just right.

I wish someone made something for the trans am. Anything. About the only thing made is the Wings West front spoiler lip which costs $400 and doesn't even look that good.

I think it looks kinda fugly but callaway makes a aero body kit for the camaro for $6000. If you go to callawaycars.com they have their kit. It reminds me of a maserati but i bet it handles good since its from callaway.

I always thought that kit was ugly. I forgot about it, but I do have a pic or two I can post up Sat.

Here's the calloway pic. I have a blue pic.
