Thanks guys! No polish on the wheels yet, they are new. That was the 1st time they have seen the street. the weather here gets up into the 40-50's during the day then back down in the 20's at night. It gets real annoying.

Thanks for the pics. I've been debating between 2004 Hummer H2 blue gray and Pewter for my car when I repaint it. I liked all the different angles (I might even be able to chop my rims over your pics).

I've been thinking of making a Berger panel like you did, so it was nice to see how good it looks against the Pewter, have you thought of filling the letters in pewter?

I've also been trying to decide bewteen black or pewter mirrors and roof.

Anyways thanks again!

ROCNDAV, most definetly black mirrors and roof.
Love the car man, but I really think you should do some fill-ins in the rear maybe stainless or you could do what ROCNDAV suggested and paint them pewter.

I noticed you have the CME. I really like the way it looks but hate the way you can see where the back peice has been "tacked on". Has anyone maybe used some filler or something to fill that in and make it smooth?

Thanks! the car was painted last April with an GM SUV Pewter Metallic, with some silver pearl flakes added. With the right light it looks silver instead of pewter. When I say "SUV" I mean GM used a different pewter to paint the tahoes & etc. Thats the one I had my car painted with. In certain places were it was taped off you can tell a big differece between the stock pewter & the new one.

I have had the Berger panel with pewter camaro letters, I got tired of it & filled in the letters with some body filler. If you notice they are gone. So now I have a smooth panel. Also its being repainted from black back to pewter so I want have to worry about that anymore. Still leaving it shaved.

As for painting the mirrors/roof. I had my mirrors painted & I think they turned out nice compared to the way they used to look being black. The roof I dont think would look good, I didnt even consider that at the time.

TAEnvy- I was contemplating that idea too when I was having the car painted but decided not to try & smooth them together due to the fact that I get tired of things to quick, & I knew if I wanted to get rid of the CME I wouldnt be able to. Personally I dont think it looks that bad, I guess it just grows on you.

Thanks!

i dont like that hood, i dont like the halos, i dont like the smoked lenses. but your car makes everyone of those things look absolutely gorgeous!! i think that is bar none one of the cleanest camaros around. very good choices on putting together a seamless car.
