Default Interior car smell, help please!!!!!

Not sure wich forum this thread falls into so i will start here. A skunk went through my garage last night and now my car smells oh so nice . I tried febreeze and it works for a while but the smell keeps coming back. The skunk didn't get into my car, but i cannot permanently get rid of the smell. Is there anything i can do/buy that will get rid of the smell????

Eesh...you can try putting some dryer sheets in the car, under the seat or something. I don't think anything other than time is going to get rid of it 100% though. Just going to have to wait...and air it out as much as you can.

Might be dumb Q but have you driven around yet? Back where I am from when you'd pass where a skunk got hit you'd smell it for about a minute or 2 till it cycled through the system. Since it didnt get in you car take it for a spin with the air on high and see if that helps.

put a bar of soap under the seat. Leave it in the box and poke holes in the top/sides.

put a box of baking soda in the back seat when your not driving. That works really good.
