what is this worth
Salvage title
02 Trans AM WS6
14K miles
black W/ ebony interior
6spd
completely stock
the car has a salvage title because it was stolen, very little damage occured. It is now repaired and in excellent condition. Just wondering what you guys think it is worth.

You never know who might come around and want the car

I would say look at comparable cars for sale in your area and subtract about 3-4K for the salvage title

well it really depends on u. if u are goin to buy it and keep it, then i would pay 14,000 max. if u are goin to buy it and fix it(whatever damage there is) and sell it, then i would pay around 11,000 max.
also there are ways of changin the salvage title to regular. here in tennesse, i could buy a salvage car and then take to arkansas and register it, and they will give me a clear title. and that works only if u fix the car and there is nothing wrong with it.
like a person stated above, ppl run away from salvage. since u are buyin it and keepin it, then it really doesnt matter if u know there is nothing wrong with it. when it comes down to selling it, ppl assume that the salvage title is something horrible so they dont bother with it and u could have a hard time sellin it and getting what u want out of it. hope that helps.

If it's applicable to your state, get that salvage title converted to a rebuilt title. Or, best case scenario (and I've never heard of this before), do what Yahelou suggested. In either case, your car will need to be certified by somebody with credentials, which will help your sale even if you decide to retain the salvage title.
Again, the moment you advertise a salvage titled car, you're inadvertently saying that the car can have multitudes of untold problems. Even if you were telling the truth (minimal damage, completely restored), the fact is that you're marketing a huge (mis)perception when throwing a vehicle out there with a salvage title. It's all about appearances, so I recommend converting that title to something with a far less negative connotation as stated above.
EDIT: I would pay $12,000 for your car. I would sell, however, at $14.

im sorry. i misunderstood my father. when i was talkin to him about it, i thought he was tellin me that it can be changed to clear. but what he really meant is that it would become a rebuilt title. like tainted said above, u cant switch back to a clear title. haha. sorry for the confusion. got u all excited for no reason.
