if its as bad as it looks in the pics i doubt you'll be able to buff it out, looks like you might have to repaint

did u try claybar it might not have eaten through the paint, but if it has then repainting the bumper is your best bet.

Still kind of hard to tell in those pictures. It MAY come out with 2000 grit paper. Work that then rubbing compounds to get it smooth again.

I have to wash my truck tonight, driving home yesterday I killed over a 1000 of those damn things. Keep the front end waxed this time of year. Quick detail often.

Repaint!

That just bugs me to no end (no pun intended really) how people can just NOT take care of simple things like that. How hard is it to stop by a car wash for 2 minutes and scrub the bugs and other things off the front of your car?!?!

I just roll my eyes when I see a car (any car) that has a lot of bird **** all over it! I don't think people realize how bad some things can be for a paint job.

I would try claybar first. Repaint seldom holds up good on the flexible plastic parts, especially on the nose that sees the most abuse.

If you are more inclined to repaint it might as well try the wetsand and buff method first.
