Default New 15% Tint!

I just got my car tinted yesterday and the only thing that upsets me, is that I didn't do this earlier! I got 15% on the sides and hatch. The tint shop I went to did an amazing job. The main thing I was worried about was the hatch with all the horror stories I heard about concerning the dot matrix. When I asked him how he does the hatch, he said not to worry. He said it would be one piece, no paint and no vinyl, just his secret method. Whatever it is, it works. Here are the pics.

( Yes I will be lowering it and wheels are next! )

Thanks guys.

As for the side molding, it doesn't bother me. I'd rather leave it to help protect against dents.

I have no idea what he did to make it look as good as it does. When I asked, he literally said it was his own technique that he keeps a secret. Even from the inside it looks fantastic and I couldn't be happier.

That def sucks that the tint shop scratched your glass. Good luck with that, and hope everything gets straightened out. As for the gap around the edges of the glass, there's at most a 1/16th of an inch gap around both side windows. Pretty much goes right to the edge. I'll try and get some pics up soon for you.

His "secret" method is sanding down the dot matrix.
