weird question about vinyls

Default weird question about vinyls

Ok I want to know if theres a better way to make my vinyls stick more to the car as seen in pictures below.. it seems after a month of these being on some is starting to peel on the front bird and a letter on the side door is there any way t o prevent this?

Honestly, I did mine when it was +70 outside. Mine have been going strong for 3 years now. I would say that maybe when you put them on you may have made too much contact to them with your fingers or you applied them and took them off too much. If anything I would go back to the site you got them from and just read up on the FAQ's and Tips for installing them. For the side of the car where it says "Trans Am" I just went to the GM dealer and got New Black badges for the doors, I dont like putting vinal over the badges to begin with. Good luck with this. Oh yeah and when you put them on, I did use a hair dryer for better application.

Had mine for a year and wash my car once a week, no peeling here. Did you clean the surface sufficiently?

yea or at least i thought i did well ill try the hairdryer thing see if it makes it stick on more then last longer

Clean/prep the area of application as best as you possibly can, then also make sure you avoid touching the adhesive backing as much as possible.

i work at a vinyl shop and if u clean the surface good u shouldn't have any problems but it also might be the vinyl that they use

Prep is the key when installing decals. Also get some heat on the paint. Not too much though.
