I used the liquid clay bar and the liquid ice last week. The liquid clay bad was like a deep clean to the body. I guess it did its job but my car didnt really have any containments to notice but it was much smoother after words. The liquid ice I would have to say is like putting armor all on your exterior. It was easy and fast to use, left it really shinny and deep. All in all I would use a standard clay bar and wax. There were still noticable swirl marks there in the sun that im sure a regular wax would take car of, but if you had little time to wax and clay bar then use the turtle wax

Liquid clay bar is not a substitute for a real clay bar.

they are very ineffective, and a waste of time and money.

^ Next on their new product campaign are a liquid dent-remover, a gas spray-on PC buffer, and a Detailer Relief midget in a bottle that beings you beers while you detail your car...

Take off the wax first with the claybar, then swirl remover, then wax, and you won't have any swirls. I did that process on my car, but with two coats of wax and i had virtually zero swirls anymore, which is hard to do on 14 year old, 130k paint.

Agreed. If you know what a real claybar actually does, then you know that you physically need the claybar in order to achieve the purpose of using one. I think that the name "liquid claybar" is the wrong way of advertising it.

I thought the liquid claybar was just cleaner wax in a stupid bottle. all that turtle wax stuff is junk, I'd never use any of it
