Custom Stainless Steel Door Sill and Battery Cover
I recently finished a few more mods for the SS so I thought I would post a pics to inspire you guys as many of you have given me ideas after looking at pics of your sweet rides.
I made the door sills at work using 18Ga brushed stainless steel and had the black with brushed aluminum SLP Engineering decals made up for them as the sills looked too plain w/o the decals IMO.
The battery plate I made from 16Ga stainless steel and hand polished it before applying the decals I designed. All the decals were made by board member Teri9672 and look sweet! Teri did a great job.
Thanks for having a look and my new mods.

WOW! Quite a response from you guys, thanks for the compliments!
I installed the door sill plates using 3M VHB (Very High Bond) adhesive tape. Basically the same stuff used to hold the emblems on your car.
Here is a link to my finished engine compartment project. (Well it isn't really ever done is it?)

And of course a preview of the post!
