As far as I remember, she is working on Friday night, so you can look at the car in the dark then. If you have enough time during a lunch break, I could try and pick you up and drive you over there if you want. Let me know.

Today most of the wetsanding and buffing was done, and the hood scoop painted black. We decided against the fade effect...that would have looked...well...kinda silly.
The front and rear bumper are still missing a coat of base before getting cleared and wetsanded and buffed as well. Hopefully the car will be done by tomorrow.

It was white. The hood is new, so it was painted body color too, and most of the engine compartment is blue. Unfortunately we kinda have to rush it to get the car back to her, so the engine compartment isn't as detailed as we wanted to do it. But oh well, she'll never look under there anyhow.

Considering there is none, it turned out better than expected. $1500 was her budget...that's the best she could afford. Just have to put more time into wetsanding and buffing....it won't look as good as if it was done in a booth, but for now it will have to do.
