It's very possible. Shops charge a few hundred bucks a window though.

Ive done it to my Jeep Cherokee. I imagine the regulators are interchangable. I cant imagine they made special doors for both. So the power window regulators will probably more or less bolt in.

The hard part is working in the door itself. Such a pain to wedge your arm in there and work. You'll need to run wires out of the door and into the cabin. You'll need the switches. And if you are picky like me, you'll need to either get new door panels without the crank hole or find something to cover it.

Or....try to find doors in your car's color and just swap the whole door on. haha. Thats the easiest way in my opinion. I just hate working on the inside of the door...

I did this with a kit from A-1 that utilizes the factory switches and mounting points for the power window motor. All that you would need is to purchase the OEM switches for the driver & passenger side and reupholster the door panels. Probably took me no more than 3-4 hours to do everything.

The kit can be found here: http://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/...ct_Code=GM70-K

and you would use this harness:

The motors have a lifetime replacement warranty and they go up and down WAY faster than stock.

That seems like a decent set up. Just $$$$$... I guess if the windows work better than the factory ones it might be a decent trade off though.

I have a 99 Pontiac Firebird/TA.. It needs new doors but the only doors I have been able to find are from a 95 TA and they are manual. Is there a way to convert the entire door to power window and lock? Or do you guys know where to get new doors?

I also used the A1 kit way back in 2001 and it worked fine. Just a PITA to work inside the doors. You will also hack up your window tint if you aren't careful.
