Default Aftermarket Exhaust System?

So im looking to put an Aftermarket Exhaust System on my 02 Z28 Camaro, it does have an okk soundin stock system but i dont like how they look and it's not loud enough. Im just not sure of which brand of system to go with. Im saving up for rims right now, but i would like to go ahead and have an Exhaust System picked out.

Which one's would yall recommend that sound best, and look nice???

I kinda want them fat round looking tips to.

there are a ton of threads about this. the MOST popular ones are the GMMG, Magnaflow, and Loudmouth (100's of variations).

Corsa or GMMG.

Not necessarily in that order. I owned both and loved both, wouldn't buy anything else for an fbod. I'd be a little hesitant to spend the money on Corsa with the premium tips no longer available though.

GMMG = loud all the time, a lot of drone
Corsa = VERY tame at idle, VERY little drone, and loud as hell at WOT

My TSP TD's are dumped and are loud as hell!! You will love em if you like setting off car alarms and such

I got corsa though because the dumps were beginning to annoy me a little bit on long trips, can't say I regret it either.

I absolutely love the Corsa system on my car. Can't beat the quiet cruising and the ability to uncork it at any given time. I do have LT's and no cats so that takes the notch up on the dB rating. You can always find a system you like that sounds good then change the tips. IE Corsa and GMMG are pricey but thier tips can be sold for a deal of money. then you would have plenty of cash for whatever tips you want and a great sounding exhuast.

I loved Magnaflow, but I hated the tips when I had that system. I swapped them out for some Corsa clones.

It may be too quiet though. Also, you can't go wrong with GMMG or Corsa.

Magnaflow or SLP LM! Borla can sound like crap and the tips a ugly as hell! GMMG is good just to much money for what you paying for and Corsa is just to much damn money!

If your just going to run a catback and keep everything else stock SLP Lm all the way! But if you add headers you will need to add a magnaflow or borla bullet muffler to it

Guess I'll be the first to suggest a Hooker kit. It's very affordable & sounds great. Even with LT's & ORY @ 70 on the highway there is very little to no drone. I absolutely love mine, but your gonna want to get a different set of tips if you buy the kit. Its loud outside the car when in the throttle but quiet enough inside to think & have a conversation.

Another cheaper option is to just get the Hooker Aeorchamber muffler by itself for $80 new & then get a set of tips you like which will probably be about $100 give or take a few $$ for what you want.

I agree with mike, i completely forgot about the hooker, talk about an inexpensive good sounding system.

If I were to get that aerochamber muffler and tips, I still need to buy the pieces that go between the tips and muffler right? What size would that be and where would I get them?

gmmg all the way if you have the money. borla sounds nice with a good set of headers. and if your gunna put the slp loudmouth then u might aswell just get straight pipes. as for the best bang for the buck i would have to say the hooker system.
