Well now that winter in Chicago is pretty much over, I've been adding all of the things that have been gathering in my basement over winter on the car
. Pretty much the only things I have left planned apperance wise is to paint the back of where the billet grille goes black, to paint and put on my SS spoiler, and then a few other little things. Tell me what you guys think
The future plans will be some performance mods and cleaning up the engine bay.

Thanks guys!
Steve, you nailed it on the head on how I look at modding my car. Each mod has a lot of thought put into it, and how each new modification will affect or bring out the others.
Andy, I've been doing a lot of driving the last 2 weeks so it might have been me... but I don't think I was out by glendale.

hey sweet car! where at in naperville are you located? I'm in naperville too - use to have the black and orange striped '97 now I have a silver z.
. Nice...
I'd ditch the GS hash marks and maybe do a hockey stick swoosh like the Hot Rod car that would look awesome I want a 2nd f-car so I can focus on a car that is mostly appearance mods.

The are few cars that I like the GS strips on and yours is one of them.
!PSJ - I was thinking about that before I put on the stripes. The only style hockey stripes that I like are the ones off the sprewell camaro (Also painted on). The vinyl ones that they sell seem to small for the car and don't flow with it as much as the sprewell stripes. But thats just my 2 cents
. The ride looks awesome MadIce! Nice job!
Now for some constructive criticism. I know the TTII's are 17" but it seems like the sidewall on your tires are very meaty. Can you go with a lower profile tire? Ok, that was all I could think of. Damn, you're car is sweet. Here's one other thought. Once you get the SS hood mounted I think you'll need a hood to balance it out. It'll look a bit too high in the back. An Ultra Z or an SS hood would be great.

. First one is that I think it fills the space better, a lower profile tire would allow you to see more of the inside. And the other reason is it has that much more little extra space to flex when racing. Gonna have my Vig 3200 installed soon
, and then might go with a 02 LS6 cam kit.As for the hoods, unless I can get a good deal on a OEM SS hood I prob won't get one of those. The Ultra Z looks nice, but not the style I'm going for. I was thinking about the 2inch cowl hood by VFN, small yet agressive... but then I'm liking the clean look of the stock hood and it'd save me money for others things. So I dunno, still something that will float through my head.
"Damn, you're car is sweet"... thats what I love to hear
. And thanks for the "constructive criticism"
