For a free rear seat cover ?

I'd have to split it with Steve (toofazt) though

Question for Arizen:

How would these hold up to road racing? I see the holes in the back for my 5 point harness and all, and the option for a subbelt. My current TA seats work OK at road race but I have a rip in the side bolster and have thought of upgrading. I know they are not kirky's or anything but will they pass spec in say NASA or anything?

Not a lot of shoulder support in hard corners but Arizen does custom stuff on the frames so maybe they can do something for you...

wow, VERY nice!! How's the seating position compared to stock? In other words, I don't want to sit any higher than I currently am with my stock seat powered ALL the way down. The lower I sit the better I like it. I am 6'5" as well, so I could see myself mounting the seat a bit further back if that's possible.....?? I don't hardly ever have anybody in the back seat.

Our deeper back bolstered seats would hold you in better. We have never been able to get any responses from NASA or other organizations to see if they have any specific requirements they look for. In a reclinable seat most organizations are most likely looking at the completed installation with any belts/harnesses, roll bars etc. really being more the determining factor.

Along the saftety lines. Do you have any provisions for the seat to be back brace mounted to a rollbar? Thus removing flex.

I believe our seats with our brackets sit as low or lower than the stock lowest position and slides farther back but I am not certain. I prefer someone who has the car with our seats comment on this as well so guys please chime in.

This is not the most recent frame picture but very similar. I would think the best place to brace the back would be from the "X" portion of the frame. I don't know how this compares to the height you would wish to brace from.

after installing my seats I can tell you that they go back alot farther then the stock ones, damn near to were they touch the back seats. The slider taht adjusts the seat moves alot more forward and aft then the original. Its a tad bit higher being thicker then the OEM seats. But I am sure as time passes it will not be so bad. I should have this car done and back on the road in a couple weeks. I hope.

Here's a slightly better (older) pic (REALLY dirty):

Is that duct tape holding the seatbelt guides on?

Like I said before, those are OLD pics... That was temporary when I just put them in. It was electrical tape, replaced with velcro straps untill I did this (mounted them with screws):
