Water stains on ALL my windows and t-tops
I have the most stubborn water spots in the world on all of my windows. I've washed, windexed, clayed, and used just about every autmotive glass cleaner out there but they can't be removed. I don't want to use steel wool as some have suggested sine I'm afraid that it will cause more harm than good, but I'm going crazy here. How do I get these off?

i've heard some people using steel wool to remove the numbers that are put on your car when you go to the track and it doesn't scratch the glass. i guess it's microfiber? just what i've heard!

Chrome polish on windows. Did it on my buddies car who has tried everything possible, clay bar and all that stuff and he nearly crapped himself when I did it on one of his and it was all gone.

You can use steel wool, but IT MUST BE 0000 STEEL WOOL! Anything more coarse than that will scratch your windows. When I was in a pro shop we used it all the time, it's too fine to scratch glass.
Otherwise, just use any polish you would use on your car and a machine, or polish it by hand.

haha ok here's how you get them out!
first let me tell you what i tried first:
windex
tropic-care glass cleaner
amonia
vinegar
lighter fluid
all of the above with a #00 steel wool
all of the above with a razor
soap and water
carb cleaner
alcohol (85% electrical cleaner grade)
anything else you could think of.
only thing that DID work is some "headlight defogger" from auto zone.
apply it to an orange tropic-care cutting pad and go to town on your glass with the PC buffer(i used speed 6). It took about 20 mins per window and after ward they were absolutely spotless. they looks brand spanking new!
hope this helps!
p.s. This product DOES have amonia in it so be careful as not to get it on your paint. i'm not sure how it can affect your clearcoat etc.
