Do your reverse lights light up cause my dont ? Ialso have to get the rest of the tail light wired up. they came on the car and i havent had time to do it yet

has anyone ever done this and used an lt1 harness? everything works but the brake lights. any ideas?

Hey dont kill me for bringing back an old thread but is there anyway that the op can redo the pics cause they dont show up.

Im gonna look again on the computer at home and that may be my issue seeing as this is a gov. computer haha.

Hey jay ill definatly get ahold of ya for this, i have a fella interested in the swap and i wanted to get some info on how to make it work. just gonna have to ship mine to him and his to me lol and have to wait on that.

I have a question how do you get those lines to go away on the taillights that's the only thing I don't like has anyone took them out or got ride of the lines some how if so please tell me pm me

The lines are the reflectors and you can't get rid of them.

all the pics are still there. All you really do is piggyback the middle wire and pull out the plug in the other harness that is missing the middle wire. Insert and your done. Gave the same instructions 4 years ago! Hahah!

I did mine a little easier. I just bought 1 GM socket and took one wire out if it for each tail. To get the wire out all i did was take the inside brown part of the socket out. It comes out by simply pushing the two locks on the side in and pulling it out. When you take it out you see the 3 wires on the bottom. All i did was pull one of them wires out and installed it on the blinker socket thats on the car. So its like a factory connection still.

With the wire installed into the stock socket, i just took the other end of it and put it in a scotch lock which was tapped into the middle wire (low filament) on the main tail light socket.

Its an easy way of doing it, and still somewhat clean. Heres a pic of how its set up.
