Kinda Ricey: What do you think about LED's in the Hood Nostrils?
Contemplating this idea for awhile. I saw a Black Viper with "Kawasaki" Green Stripes that had green LED lights in the fender area, (where that huge gap is). I thought it was pretty cool and kinda thinking about LED's in the hood nostrils. Not blue/white/green or anything. What about amber? Or a lil' bit of red with amber to match my DRL's. Anyone got pics of this setup??

i think it would be really easy to overdo it with that, but if it was done tastefully then it could look really cool. if you already have a red and black theme then some red LEDs maybe behind one of those grill/inserts would be pretty cool.

Red alone, in my opinion, wouldn't contrast with anything on the car. I was thinking of adding a few red LED's to give a redish hue to some amber LED's. Ya know, kinda give it that firey effect. Kinda undecided though. I would like to see some pictures but the only ones I've seen were BLUE??

If done in low quanity of LEDs and placed them properly so you'd only see pure glow of them, then it'd be done tastefully and subtle IMO.. Just can't go over board and make it stand out.
Personally i'd do white.... Main reason being that you could run with them on if you wanted. I've never had any issues with running with my 196LED illuminated front bird.

Yea, I was thinking of placing them in the large open area in the bottom of the nostrils, where the baffles are or used to be. I would be placing them there and putting a mirror-like tape of the top underside of the nostrils. I don't want it to be clearly seen. Ya know, the individual LED.

don't flame me guys, but I saw a WS6 with a red LED lit nitrous purge through the "nostrils." That was badass in my opinion. Reminded me of that snorting bull on a bugs bunny cartoon.

I"ve considered doing white leds on my hood and side vents for a long time and would hook it up to the RPM module so it would light up with an engine rev, but I've always have something else I want to do more. If its done right this is a very cool touch to accent the meanest parts of a WS6.

I saw do it! I've seen a white ws6 with orange leds in the nose of the hood and it looked evil. I have some pics of other birds with neons in the hood, i will post it as soon as i get home.
