Tdawg:
Are your Halos LED or CCFL?
How hard is it to take out the Halo Rings?
Is it possible to measure the high beam/low beam rings? inside diameter, of course.
Basically what I am getting at is this:
If they are LEDs, changing out the LED bulb would be simple when they fail or when a new color is wanted. And if the ring broke, a new one could be a DIY ring.
If they are CCFL, then a new CCFL tube would be needed for either a replacement or a new color. As far as I know, you cannot DIY a CCFL.
I like the style but do not like the white halos. I prefer CCFL over LED for luminance but stock/custom CCFL tubes bent in a particular diameter circle are hard to come by. If someone would be able to measure their Halos on the projector headlights (like Tdawg), I would be able to find the correct CCFL rings in a varity of colors and other LS1tech-ies would have a choice other than the stock white CCFL.

Get me the measurements and I'll do the work in getting different colors for all the LS1techies.
If you might think it will take more than a month to get the rings out, I'll just buy a set and measure it all out myself.

The halo's have the reflection off of the blue leds which gives it the illusion of the blue rings, it's really decieving haw they did it , they ARE all made by the same company. i've talked to several companies and have bought and gone through several pairs, cause i couldn't get the projector to point the right way without the gap. finally i just modded the brackets myself.

they all got returned, couldn't afford more than one pair , that and i didn't want to deal with the defective ones that none of the companies wanted to help try to fix

I had to use my original brackets on my old style halo's bc they fit like poop. Did you try that or were they worse? I was hoping this new style projector was a decent product.

so these are all made by "Egale Eyes"???
I went to the actual EagleEye website and they only list the older style (non-projector) headlights.
Which seller was the most cooperative and all around better service/price/product?
