Thank you I still need to do the door handles and light switch. The door handles are a bitch and ill prob do them when i do window motor replacements, the light switch i dont have a solder gun at school here so i tried to rig something else up and it kept shorting out and burning up my HVAC lights and fuses so i figured i would just pull it out and wait till i had the right tools..

was sick of not having a real dome light so i got this light out of a ford windstar. it only protrudes about an inch down from the headliner so its not noticeable at all
the mirror came from a 02 tahoe and i wired everything up to work properly. ran the temp sensor to the front behind the billet grill
the auto dim actually works pretty well

it wasnt that hard. pull the a-pillar cover off, pull the sun visors down and the headliner pretty much pulls down.
run the wires up the a-pillar and across the roof
the wire that i had run were 2 for the temp sensor, and one down to the reverse lights (to turn the auto dim off at night when in reverse).
i pulled the power from the original rear view mirror wires.
the part i was procrastinating on doing was the cutting of the head liner. just cut it in small increments till the new dome light fit in just right.
