window sweeps scratching the glass

window sweeps scratching the glass does anyone else have this problem? Every glass i see from a junkyard is scratched from the window sweep. That is why iam trying to find a new window cause my driver side has heavy scratched from one bad roll down.

If you pull the door panel off there is a metal support that holds the window in place near the top. They come with a rubber end to not scratch the window but sometimes after tint install the place knocks the rubber end off.

Now the hard question is what are the felt pads on the OUTSIDE of the windows? There are three of them and they are metal with felt on top of them.

window sweep removal im getting my t/a ready for paint and i want to remove the window sweep. but it seems everyone i talk to about it says i should just replace them because the clips will break when i try and remove them.Is there any way to remove them without breaking them?
