ALLRIGHT! i finnaly found sombody who did wat i wanna do... how hard is it to get those corvette seats to work in our cars? i kno there pretty dam comfortable! i want some

Thanks. wasn't to bad. i used the original mounting studs in the front, but did modify the seat bracket by cutting one side and moving it inwards to match up. did require welding them. you could move the stud or drill a hole and nut and bolt it and it would work also. for the back, i drilled two holes per seat and bolted them in. i spliced into the wiring for the drivers seat for power to the pass. seat. the stock seatbelts do go right across your neck though, hence the fivepoints. on the pro side, the seats still go forward just as far, and will go back until they touch the backseat, which is great if you're tall like me...

looks a hell of alot worth it tho! id just get them re-apolstered with black leather on the outside, and black suede in the inside part.

well, a spinal compression would suck i guess, but it's better than flying out the windshield wouldn't you say.lol as stated earlier, i'm soon going to install a cage to remedy the situation. most of my normal driving is done with the shoulder belts pretty loose anyways, so i'd probably break my nose before anything, but that's my decision.

i'm also aware that my extinguisher is not secured down in this pic, so don't bother, it's already been taken care of. at the time, it was better than watchin' my car burn to the ground.

i plan on paintin' it red and airbrushin' either light blue ghost flames or doin' "real" flames on it. haven't decided yet, maybe i'll setup a poll soon. but ya, yall read my mind and thanks for the compliments guys.
