Default bowtie for billet grille?

where are you guys getting the bowtie for a billet grille? I can't seem to find one that fits. Also, how did you install yours?

I used an S-10 emblem on mine..20 bucks I heated it up in teh oven for about 45 min to get the curve in it...and some emblem tape ito hold it in place

It's the '67 Chevelle bowtie.

i was told it was the front emblem off of a 69 chevelle.

Yea, it's been a while since I looked into it. '69 Chevelle is probably correct. DO NOT use a '69 Camaro one - it won't work.

Yep, it's a '69 Chevelle bowtie. Got it off ebay. I bought the Camaro bowtie first and found out the hard way that it doesn't work. I used some self-threadding nuts on the studs that stick out the back.

do you have any pictures of the back? i dont want to stick it on with tape becuase i know ******** here will jack it.

Yeah I thought the gold went prety well with the Pewter paint..and if you look realy close you can see that I mounted the grill right on the black facia...
a bit further back

call gmmg, they used a bowtie emblem on the dick harrell cars and it looks real good...

That's the '69 Chevelle bowtie as mentioned earlier except that GMMG has exclusive rights to have them made in red. You can only get the blue one.
