Guys, please don't ask him where he got them. We have a sponsor that sells these kits.

I was thinking of getting HID replacements for my car, but using the stock lights. Would getting the projector lights really be that much better? Someone else recommended 8000K lights, he said they have good visibility and only a touch of blue, but you are saying that 6000K has a lot of blue already? Does anyone have some good pics to compare 4300K, 6000K, and 8000K with?

I've got the same projectors, but 8000k HIDs in mine. I gotta say that the 8000k is definitely very blue, and if you just wanted "a touch of blue", go with 6000k. That said, I absolutely love the 8000k and think that visibility is fine. I'm seriously thinking about getting 8000k foglights to complete the look too.

I can say that anyone who gets these projectors should expect to spend some time fiddling with the alighment. Mine came aimed way too low and didn't fit into the bumper very well. However, the halos and leds are extremely bright, and I don't think any picture can truly do them justice.

I'll try and grab some pics of the 8000k light tonight, but my camera skills are ... lacking.

Oh, and Sparky, if you intend to get HIDs, I very strongly recommend some kind of projector as well. The stock halogen reflector will just scatter the light everywhere, blinding oncoming drivers and making less usable light hit the road. Check out www.hidplanet.com for a bunch of comparisons, pics, and do-it-yourself projector retrofit into (if you didn't want to buy ebay projectors).

The 6000K I have on my other car has a white light with a hint of blue. Very nice light output. 8000K would have more blue. Once you go 10000K or higher you strat getting into the purple light. 6000K is probably what you are looking for.

I thought this thread was dead. I never hooked up the halo's. I don't know if I want to. If I do I am still undecided how I want to hook them up (i.e. to the fogs or separate switch). Either way I am going to do the mod that reject posted here https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/774871-projector-light-reject-mod-how.html. Maybe one of the other guys can post pics for you. I have not driven or touched the car for about 3 months. I hope to make a decision and finish this during my time off from work.

Also added a new pic comparing a stock light and projector.

Fine, there's a sponsor that sells them. Since, ostensibly, the idea is to help said sponsor - why don't you share which one it is? Some of us actually support sponsors, need headlights, and would like to know.
