Default camaro lettering on front bumper?

is my car the only one that doesnt say CAMARO on the front bumper when the grille is removed? Does this mean my car was at one time wrecked and has a aftermarket front bumper? anyone?
thanks.

Not 100% sure but I had an aftermarket one on mine and it didn't say camaro. That sucks.

it was either wrecked or whoever owned it before you had it taken to a body shop and filled in. A buddy of mine did that with his camaro and it looked like that.

Most likely wrecked. I know that all 98+ camaros had the "Camaro" embossed in them.

It could have been in a minor front end collision that only required the bumper cover to replaced. To know for sure, take a look at the front of your frame rails in your engine bay. If they are crinkled/crumpled, then it was a wreck at a significant speed - probably about 25mph at least. A body shop could tell you the extent of the damage, though.

Pretty sure if they filled in the letters they would have filled in the holes where the grille mounts. It looks like those are still there.

Ya that's definately an aftermarket bumper. Does it fit wierd in any place?

Just get the holes fill and go grillless.
