Default TA hatch on V6/Formula body

Somebody requested pics of the how a TA hatch looks on a V6-bodied car via PM, so I figured why go through all this work and not share the love? =)

Sorry about that last one. I Photoshopped the background a wee bit for use elsewhere. Also, I have a widescreen version of the silhouette picture if anybody is interested.

With the W68 GFX, it looks even better. A guy on fullthrottlev6 has it, looks sweet.

Wing looks silly without the TA skirts and bumper or at least the W68 package on the Formy/base.

Default kinda lost..

What's this W68? I havn't heard of that before... Anyway, I'm wanting to do that hatch swap too, matter of fact I have the same color, same generation, but I have a lip edge kit (i'm told it's factory aerodynamics option????) painted semi-gloss black.

I think it doesn't look right alone, but if it had a W68 option, it would look awesome! There's a local guy that drives one in that same color, W68 firebird, high rise spoiler, and with a ram air hood! There's people that even take it as a trans am....... that until he steps on the gas and you hear that v6 roaring!

Got any pictures? I might get W68 ground effects and some nice exhaust tips...

The W68 option was a factory appearance package which included ground effects and dual exhaust, although - it was painted to match the body color.

Example of W68 w/TA hatch http://www.cardomain.com/ride/677137

Default no pics...YET

I guess I have the W68 package. They were painted the body color, but looking at the newer concept cars that have a black lip edge, I thought I'd try it with mine. Now that it's done I don't think it'd look as good on any other color than the pewter color I have. I haven't gotten exhaust tips yet and that's kept me from posting pics, but I'll try to clean it up and take a few pics Wednesday when I'm off work. I'll post some for you all to see then hopefully. Default Requests for pics GRANTED!!

So here's two pics of my W68 Firebird, as requested. The pic with the body-color kit is the older and is edited to delete the door handles, I just wanted to confirm how bad a$$ that'd look to my GF! The other night pic is photo edited for clarity since my digital cam doesn't take real good night pics. I don't have my T/A hatch on yet since I'm doing extensive fiberglass work to the edges and corners before painting it and having my glass switched over onto it. Hope you enjoy the pics! Swat

I think it looks good, but as I have a 97' I just can't picture it, I have seen it before on LT1 bodies but all the pics I've seen the cars were pretty ugly and silver... if that makes a difference.
