How Much Por15
So yes a little goes a long way!
4 oz.covers @ 12 sq. ft.
Pint covers @ 50 sq. ft.
Quart covers @ 96 sq. ft.
It does go a long way. One pint should be plenty. Make sure the axle is clean of any oily residue from diff fluid. Por15 won't stick well to those areas so use a lot of the Marine Clean on those areas.
FYI...Place a piece of plastic wrap over the mouth of the paint can and put the cover on over top of it for a good seal. It also makes it easier to take the cover off again when needed.

pour what you need into another container and then reseal the unused container (just like brian said) and also, this is gonna sound funny, but put the resealed container in the refrigerator until you want to use more (this is exactly what www.porstore.com told me).
I have had a resealed can of it in my garage fridge for over a year, and just pulled it out the other day and painted a buddies 1969 chevelle ss frame with it and it was just as good as when i first bought it!

Wow, thanks guys for all off the info. I am going to order some ASAP. I hate that rust color on my car.
- BIGBOS we are talking about painting it ON the car. You just mask off what you don't want Por15 on, put some gloves on and brush it on to your rear end. It will come out to a smooth gloss black finish. I have seen it on other applications and it looks good.
Thanks again guys for all of the responses I really appreciate it.
