Hey Kenny, I've been thinking a lot about how you extended the wiring on the drivers side and moved that bulkhead connector to just in front of the door. I think that would work really well for me.
Was it a pain in the *** to move the inner bulkhead piece on the inside of the car?

I'm doing something a little slick until I'm able to remove the shock towers completely. I'm welding the upper control arm plate into place and filling in the bolt holes. I already welded all the visible seams and smoothed them with bondo. It should make for a completely smooth shocktower. Whatcha think of that idea?
(The shocks are getting new rod-end mounts)

Cool.
I've got a 98 TA donor car. I might be able to cut it's harness from the bulkhead connector to the fuse box and then cut my cars harness at the connector. Then splice the 2 together to make it extra long. No need to buy wire and it's only half the splicing. Hopefully they will be almost identical.
Thanks for the info.
(Edit: it looks like it will give me another 28" and that looks like plenty.)

I think we can all agree that the fuse boxes are ugly and seldom accessed. So what if I put both of them behind the drivers side, front tire? There is room and the extra wire can be looped to the side or shortened. All you'd need to make is a sealed access door in the plastic splash guard. Then extend only a few wires instead of all of them. Hmmm, out of site, out of mind. If you need access, just turn the wheel all the way to the left and open the door. I'm digging it!

Is that directed at me or the OP, Kenny?
If your asking me, I don't have any definate plans. I'm smoothing the shock towers for now. The rest is built of square tubing so there's not much else to smooth out. Cosmetics are key for me so it will all come together in the end.
