Dashboard cleaning question
Dashboard cleaning question What are people using to wipe their dashboards? I'm looking for a 'wipe'. I've never used Armorall, but I do like the concept of using a wipe. Recommendations?
Re: Dashboard cleaning question Well I use Mothers "the protector".. its GREAT stuff.. same concept as armorall but this stuff is very light. I wipe it on.. let it sit for a sec then buff it off with a clean towel. It gives a very nice low gloss sheen. I hate goopy products like Armorall.. ick! -- oh and it smells good

Re: Dashboard cleaning question mothers is good But plastic is oil based and most cleaners are alcohol base which dries out plastic over a period of time I use pledge wood cleaner orange scent it makes the interior shine and gives your car an orangey scent

Re: Dashboard cleaning question when i detail it @ work, i use a leather/vinyl conditioner. But @ home, its Meguiers leather treatment. Works really well, not goopy, not too harsh. Pour a lil on a towel, kinda wipe around, and go back over w/ a clean towel. Works really good

Re: Dashboard cleaning question I personally don't like using armor all or anything that makes it look very shiney because in my past experiences all of them attract dust. I found this pad made by Turtle wax I think and it cleans all of the dust and stuff and leaves the dash looking good. There is no spray just the pad. The pad feels kinda rubbery. Anyways that is what I use.
