First thanks for the compliments.
You guys are correct. I do have the old version and didnt relize you were purchasing the superhawk "Outlaw" which is the only hood Roger still makes. Mine was actually the last superhawk he sold. I recently sold the hood but I wont tell you for how much cause you may get PO'd.
I had it for sale on here for a long time around 650.00 but ended up letting it go locally cheaper than that.
Im not a big fan of the newer version but I will tell you that you are getting a good hood and it will need minimal prep and fit will be great. I have the WS9 now and love it just as much as I did the superhawk.
US EXOTICS hoods are excellent quality.

I couldn't fit it in mine and close the hatch...you have know idea how slow I drove and how I felt every minor bump on the road. I made it though but I only had to drive about 7 miles from work to home.

transampimp - if the hood your talking about is the one in ur sig it looks pretty sick
cryptnosis - im the opposite. I saw a ws6 hood parked near my apartment and thought that it would look too agressive for the style I was going for, especially with my firebird hatch. I figured since my spoiler doesnt rise off the car, then I should find a hood that has some height for aggressiveness, but is still sleek

oh yea. I emailed Roger today asking him about the rising issue of factory hood strut damage to aftermarket hoods. I asked him if the "limited lifetime warranty" that comes with his hoods would cover it if it occurred, if he thought it would occur, and if he has any solution to stop it from occurring. I will let you guys know what he says when he writes back. Also, any of you guys with rogers hoods and stock struts have any problems?

Yup, the hood in my sig is one of his hoods. As far as the hood struts are concerned I unhooked the hood struts at the top of the hood from both sides. The struts are way to strong for a hood that weighs 1/4 the weight of the factory hood. When I popped open the hood I just popped the struts back in place. After 1.5 years of doing this my struts weakened enough to where I have finally reattached the struts.
