Money isn't a problem. I just want to be different. Everyone puts the 98 SS spoiler on 98+ cars.

ok, well how about being hella different? how about the best of both worlds....how about the Mecham spoiler? it does not have the two towers like the newer ss spoiler, but it raises just as high as the newer ss spoilers. it is amazing looking, and barely anyone has one.....although I do not know the price, you would have to hceck their website, just a suggestion.....

I have long contested that the LT1 SS spoiler looks great on LS1 Z28's. It's a nice subtle upgrade. Please post some pictures when you get it installed!

just ordered one a couple hours ago, whoo hoo!

I just realized something. My car is going to have a serious case of identity crisis. LT1 tail lights, LT1 style SS spoiler, ZR1 wheels, no badges. Poor thing will have no idea what kinda car it really is, lol

I tried to order it tonight but it is showing the UPS GROUND SHIP CHARGE: $117.97 .

I'm going to e-mail them and see if they can cut the shipping.

The mecham spoiler needs some body work to fit right. I was gonna go with one on my Z28 but went with the LS1 SS spoiler instead.

I guess if you were going to put an LT1 spoiler in place of an LS1 ss spoiler, you'd need to fill in some holes in the hatch?

Dont think so. If you talking about the center struts on the LS1 SS spoiler, they use double sided tape I believe.

I just ordered one too. For some reason I always liked the Z28 spoiler better than the SS one, but the LT1 SS looks even better from the pics. Plus those struts on the 98+ version are a PITA to clean.

^^to the spoiler question about the two tower holes. There are no holes....they just used double stick tape, only problem that people run into is that sometimes when removing the SS spoiler the tape lifts up paint....
