Steve's car?

I can't agree with the statement......or at the least accept it........I don't see why Steve just doesn't just keep and AND move on to the next project......the car is an ICON (of course I'd love to have it. who wouldn't?)
say it AINT so Steve!.......

Oh, and you guys are slow.. the SLP board had a post about this in only 2 hours..

Here is what I said there:
"For me the hobby is about the design and tinkering.. and to tell the truth the car is basicly done. I could keep doing stuff but you can have "too much of a good thing".. -- the last modfest took care of many things that bugged me.. The only place for me to take the car next is into MAJOR rework.. a blower, 12 bolt, k-member and such.. the little stuff is done..
Besides, I doubt I will sell it.. I just get a desire every once and a while to spin a wrench on a 1st get.. maybe a big block or high tech LS6.. Mostly I was curious if it would get any action on Ebay (sort of a spur of the moment thing).. Trust me that I wont loose any sleep if it dosent sell.. Heck, I love the car and enjoy driving it immensley (sp?).. Im sure you will be putting up with my "look at my newest mod" posts for some time to come
I think I also been ticked lately since there has been 3 or so local car events that I cant even attend since its a pre 72 show.. so some guy with a primered 71 Nova can go but no my unworthy new car.. gets sorta old after awhile.
So dont fret.. actually if someone offers my reserve Id not only be surprised but quite giddy.. lol.. Maybe its time to take the car up a notch and toss on a ATI "
Mostly I did it out of curiosity.. you should see all the nice emails and crazy trade offers ive gotten.. lol..
how that for an explanation?

Honestly, lots of folks have done nice things to their cars, but Steve is the creator of serious modding of the 4th gen.

What a loss it would be not having Steve around without his car.

Steve not being allowed into a show is sad, at least where I live you can go to non Camaro shows but do not think about being considered for a trophy.
If I did not own my SS and know what I do now the high 30's would be in your pocket TODAY, if that is what you are looking at as a price.

Good luck with your decision Steve, I hope we will not be missing you and you keep the car.

I agree with Blu Beast. Your car is an icon in the LS1 world Steve. To this day I've never seen a better one.
