Guys, once again, thanks a bunch on the comments. The key to a project like this is having time and another vehicle to drive while you f-body is on stands for months. If I had the money, I would love to put the car on a rotisserie and finish the underside like the paint on the body. Maybe one day.

Just got the email today they are finally on there way. They will be here Monday. Will post some pics then.

THis weekend will just be cleaning the underside of the front. I am waiting for Jet Hot to get the headers recoated and sent back to me so I can easily slide them back up there before the new K is bolted up. I have to head to Michigan towards the end of next week to visit the outlaws. So I coninue to get behind. Oh well. Make the wife happy and more toys to come

Yes I do. I did the 2006 long haul Power Tour(3000+miles), run Road Atlanta with it and spun it in the gravel this past March, local cruises on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and a local drive once in a while. It has 18,xxx miles, and I enjoy polishing more than driving. Just the way I look at it.

Very, very impressive. With this post I will now be doing this to my car over the winter. It's just sitting in the garage under the car cover so I might as well take advantage of it.

Did you say 18k miles? Looks absolutely amazing, especially that exhaust. I wish I had a lift and I could go to town like that, but I'd prefer a car with less then 82k miles. One day.

I think it's amazing that you put all this effort into it, but to me it seems excessive.

Finally!!!!! The headers came back from Jet Hot yesterday and I slid them back up in there last night. This evening after I got home, had my dad help me with the UMI K-member. It was a little harder to get up in there than what I thought it would be, but in the end, it fit like a glove. No modifications needed. I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality. Tomorrow I will start the lower A-arms and then butten the rest of the underside up. Then comes the polishing of the paint.

Here is some pics. Sorry its not as clean and polished up as the rear end of the car, but I am running out of time.

Ill be doing this to my thirdgen b4 long . I cant wait to clean up my 4th gen some more also like you are doing I think we have the same disease haha. I got it pretty clean now but once I get it in the new garage ill have more time since I have to keep mine in storage now . Let me know how you like that k-member I want to know if the rod ends on the a-arms make it ride rougher also. If anything I might just buy the k-member that thing is sweet!!! Good luck in the car shows this year.
