Nice job.

What are you using to polish your exhaust to get that much shine from it?

Looks awesome. You should have swapped out your rod bolts while that K member was down. Then you coulda polished your oil pan or maybe even powdercoated it. Didn't notice if you had motor mounts in either. That's a good mod too!

Just used rattle cans this time. If I had the time, I would clear it with a hardener in the clear to help it hold up. I just sanded it down some and used a filler primer. Wet sand it a few times and tape everything off possible.

Used a rotorary buffer and a ploish from the zone that is in a blue container. I will look and see what its called. The buffer is what does the work, but in order to get it done, you have to pull it completely out of the car.

True, but running out of time kept me from that. Also had the motor supported by the pan on a jack.

Last night buttened up the exhaust. Today I will try to get the front put back together including the brakes his weekend.

Its slowly begining to like the underside wasn't buried in a gravel trap at Road Atlanta.

I wish I had a garage to do this. I would put my car down for a year in an instant and semi-restore it. This thread gets better and better by the minute.

Quite impressive Brian. But I'm getting to old to lay on my back, so I'll wait till I can put the car in the air to begin doing something like this.

Thanks a bunch. I don't know if I posted this pic from Road Atlanta, but here is what it looked like after they drug me out of the gravel and I drove it back to my trailer. You should hae seen the interior. It was a very sad day, but I could only blame me.

Assembled more parts and cleaned others today. I even started it up to make sure all is good. Fired right up with no problems. Put the C5 brackets back on, sway bar, tightened clamps, and even put that shiney air dam on.:grinking: Getting ready to head out to get some new Corvette rotors from Advance. Once I do the Fiske's, them I will get some Baer Rortors. But thats not going to happen for some time. Need to build a house.

Let us know how the car rides with that new K member and if you hear any rattling noises coming from the A arms.
