"Halo" headlights on Camaro?
I saw these on ebay while browsing around. Anyone have a set on their 98+ Camaro? How do they look?

There was a post on this here in this forum:

I photoshopped them and they look nice. A few guy son LS1.com ordered them and are going to post pictures up sometime in the next eternity.
The only thing that bothers me about these headlights is that the low beams are blocked by the area in between the middle "lens" and the outmost "lens". Once I see a picture of these on a car with the lights on at night, I will consider them.

I like the black ones I posted better than the chrome ones in that photoshop thread. Probably look great on a dark colored Camaro.

it seems all they did was paint the inside of the lense and stick some kind of neon ring in there. those things have to cut your light output, its in the middle of the beam.no real projectors or halos. there is a guy that makes custom built to order,to your exact spec projector lights.they arent cheap by any means but nothing custom made is,with a real hid system they start at about 2500$.he uses audi projectors and starts with a brand new set of gm lights.there are several options from bi-xenon bulbs(low-beam and hi on same bulb)allowing you to have 2 sets of bright lights, to real bmw halos,(which he doest recommend in camaro lights sayin they look to cluttery and out of place).or dual projectors and your choice finish inside the houseing.so far there is only one set made.iam about to send in my deposit to get mine started.iam going with the bi-xenon setup.i brought my factory fit hid system from him so hes letting me trade those back in for credit since they wont fit the projectors.it will be a while but i will post pics when they are in.

I bought the black ones, i'm also on the 'other' site. They will be in thursday and should look good on my black on black ss.
As for whomever said they were painted cheaply? uhmmm, no, these lights are molded and as for the light output, you are again giving miss-information, it barely chops down the output at all, hardly noticeable, and yes, uses the stock bulbs (i think it comes with some) and I will be adding HID's to it later on.
