it would be a better business plan for him to look into buying large quantities of the tips to sell along with the valances. i for one know that finding a set of CME tips or corsa clones isn't exactly easy.

I agree with that idea. People love to have the packages so they don't have to search all around for the parts to fit. Its going to be hard for one to be able to find the actuall tips for a good price and to get the valance. If these two items where together it would save alot of time searching for the tips..

The only thing is that tips for the valance aren't readily available. For him to take the time to round up tips would be a hell of a mission. Their is a guy on ebay that seems to have them all the time but most people aren't willing to pay that price. Pypes exhaust has already expressed interest in producing the tips so maybe if the 2nd valance is made then they can work something out with each other. Klumzyee said he could start the project in January and it can take roughly 1.5 months. Pypes said they'd be done maybe by March.

I like the third option...
For people that have the cme system, or are getting CME tips, they already make a valence for that... the cme! So I think this new valence should be more catered to those with the other exhaust systems. Just make sure the opening will accommodate the tips from the popular after-market systems (Borla, B&B, Corsa, etc), and have the openings in the stock location so its a straight bolt up, and youre in great shape with MANY MANY potential customers, seeing as probably 90% of the fbody population is running a setup that would currently fit that 3rd valence. It would seem a bit odd to cater this valence to the few people that have the cme setup already, but are still willing to rip off their valence, buy a new one, and then have to resell or trash the elbows they bought for the cme, just in order to make it work. Or to go out and try to find CME tips (depending on if that company comes through with the reproductions), just to work with the valence. Just my .02
I have a CME valence that was going to go on, but now i guess im just going to have to see how this project turns out first! Great timing on my purchase!

well **** this is all news to me this morning, non the less, big crowd of people wanting a valence,
well from personal experience being klumzyee's test car for the original valence, his product is very good. i am very happy with what i have.
good luck, oh #3 looks best, i think that one is going to be the cheapest best looking and easiest,
to cut the original cme tips would be a bitch, as they are CAST aluminum, you still would need the elbows, and somehow figure out a way to hang them from like 3 points,

Problem is I have no way of producing tips.. We've asked around locally to see if anyones up for it and the only way these guys can make tips is if we order +100 at a time?? ._. And after that we do not have the experience or machinery to fabricate the rest of the piping to the exhaust. So I'm going to leave that to pypes and other manufactures to make. If someone does decide to reproduce the tips then I'll be glad to work together with them to do a package deal. [Pypes has actually gave us a call and we agree to work with them on their design as soon as its out].
