i do but i found that turning right is very comfortable for my finger because it snuggly fits on the switch (dont know which one) and it perfectly forms to my finger. But i do hate how rough it feels/sounds.

That seems to be the problem. They blink with the hazards, but when the turn signal is engaged, they just light up and don't blink. Will check the bulbs tomorrow.
Still will need to pull it apart as it is nearly hanging off the colunm.

It sucks!! you have to puch it from the middle or else it feels like it will break. I don't really use it so I don't have much of a problem. Plus, people back away and give you room when they hear your car coming...

Bump.... anyone try doing a swap? I don't use cruise control anyway, if there were a way I could just do a quick swap I'd do it. At least a nicer stalk, mine rattles and I can slide it side to side.
My sister has a '07 Lexus ES350 and when my signal was on, she was like wtf is that. I had no idea what she was talking about until I realize they're talking about the signal ticktocking (or as described as the "echo sound")
I also traded with my buddy 350Z for a night. He was scared to flick the turn signal cause he thought it was about to break! And he thought it sounded like it was going to when I flicked it. As you guys can tell.... YEAH, I do hate it.
This is exactly what I was about to say. I used to drive an Integra and an Acura TL. You can flash the highbeams without keeping them on, or full on click them. And it doesn't sound like you're snapping off a tree branch. Hondas have it perfect, it's one thing they do right.

It doesn't bother me. It works doesn't it? If you get into swapping out a column then you will probably cause more harm than good. The reason the toyotas, nissans, and hondas have nicer stuff is because they concentrate on economy and creature comforts. Can you imagine the sales man selling an f-body saying. "It does have really nice turn signals"

i hope you guys know you dont have to click it for the turn signal on. if you pull it to right before it clicks the turn signal comes on. thats all i ever do, i never click it unless im at a red light waiting so that i dont have to hold it down.

You beat me to it!!!! I just hold it down or up when making a lane change and I never hear the dreaded click, except while at a light or stop sign. I can already see people that didn't know about this jumping in their car to try it out Go try it everyone it really works!!!!

i dont mind the feel so much of it, but mine rattles damnit. I'll be driving and it will just start rattleing and you have to rest your finger on it to stop it. Now that pisses me off.

The blinker sound is easily fixed with a new flasher unit. I'm pretty sure mine had been going bad for quite some time as the signals were pretty slow. Once replaced there's no metallic clinking sound and they blink at a normal-quick speed.
