Here's my setup:

Maybe on a stick car but the A4's already have a sensor. I've been getting a reading ever since I put the gauge in. I asked Todd from Aerforce if it read trans temp without any additional sensors before I bought it and he confirmed there were none needed.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Still working on a few things but it is getting there. To answer any questions, the gauges are autometer cobalt. Mounting them was a pain. I didn't want a fabbed up piece for $200 so I took a sheet of aluminum and traced the gauge panel outline on it and cut it out with a dremel. Then figured out were I wanted the holes and drilled them out. Then painted it. Cost about $11 and some time. These were installed while using a BS3 as well so there was no factory PCM to mess with. Still having issues with the fuel gauge but I think that problem is with the sender in the tank. Should be fixed by spring though...I hope Any other questions feel free to ask.

its turned in there crooked so you can see the pressures it should be.

Ok, these are the same gauges. Why in one set do they light up black and the other white?

I think its just the lightning of the shot. They are white at day with black letters and supposed to be the opposite at night, hence the name "phantom".

that was the only picture that came out right, all the others were real blurry. But yes only the number light up at night, not the whole thing.
